Built a price-elasticity and Monte Carlo risk-simulation pipeline in Python on retail sales data in Microsoft Fabric. Replaced a naïve demand model with a Negative-Binomial count regression with promotion and event controls, propagated elasticity and functional-form uncertainty through the simulation, and added guardrails that refuse to project when uncertainty is too high. Developed a category-level pooled elasticity model with hierarchical fallback for sparse items; presented findings to senior leadership.
